1. Who we are

These terms apply to your use of korpalis.com and the services offered on it: the research database, paid subscriptions, the newsletter and 1-on-1 consulting. The services are provided by Korpalis, Korte Schoonderloostraat 39, 3024 TN Rotterdam, Netherlands, registered under Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 42088615, VAT number NL005489194B09. 2. Use of the website and database

• Content on this site, including database entries and summaries, is for your own professional or personal use. Do not republish, scrape or resell it without written permission.
• Quoting short excerpts with attribution and a link is always fine, and encouraged.
• You may not attempt to bypass access restrictions, probe or attack the site, or use it to send spam. Yes, we appreciate the irony of attacking a security site, and no, it is not permitted. Responsible disclosure reports are welcome at contact@korpalis.com.

3. Content and no-warranty disclaimer

We curate carefully and link every claim to its source, but AI security moves fast and sources can be updated, corrected or withdrawn. Content on this site is provided for information purposes and does not constitute legal, compliance or professional security advice for your specific situation. Decisions you make based on it remain your own responsibility.

4. Accounts

• Creating an account is free. Keep your login details to yourself: the account is personal and for one person, and you are responsible for what happens under it.
• We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, attacks the site, or shares paid content beyond the personal use described above. If the account has a paid subscription, we refund the unused part of the period unless the violation was deliberate.
• You can delete your account at any time from the account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

5. Subscriptions, trial and cancellation

Paid plans give access to the full research library and, depending on the plan, search, prompt packs, instant alerts and a monthly consultation. What each plan includes and costs is stated on the subscription page before you commit.

• Billing. Payment is handled by Stripe, monthly or annually, and renews automatically until you cancel. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
• Free trial. Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial, once per account. A payment method is required to start it, and it is charged automatically when the trial ends. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
• Cancelling. Cancel at any time via Manage subscription. Your access continues to the end of the period you paid for; there is no partial refund for the remainder. There is no notice period and no minimum term beyond the current billing period.
• Right of withdrawal. Because the subscription is a digital service delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to expressly request immediate access and to acknowledge that you thereby waive the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The free trial exists so you can make that call with the product in front of you.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a while. If it keeps failing, the subscription ends and access with it.
• Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and it applies from your next renewal. If you disagree, cancelling before then is enough. Your plan may also be grandfathered: an announced change does not automatically apply to existing subscribers.

6. Consultations

• The Expert plan includes one private 60-minute consultation per calendar month. Sessions do not carry over: an unused month lapses. Scheduling is arranged by email after you subscribe.
• Separate consulting engagements outside a subscription are booked in advance and confirmed by email, including scope, duration and fee.
• Rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before a session. Later cancellations may be charged, or may count as that month's included session.
• Anything you share for review is treated as confidential and is not shared with third parties.
• Advice is given to the best of our professional ability, but implementation and its results remain your responsibility. Liability is limited to the fee paid for the engagement or, for included sessions, the subscription fee for that month, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

7. Newsletter

The newsletter is free, and you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. Subscribing to it does not create any obligation to purchase, on either side. How we handle your email address is described in the privacy policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Korpalis name, logo, site design and original texts are our property. Linked papers, CVEs and articles remain the property of their respective authors and publishers, which is exactly why we link to them.

9. Changes and applicable law

We may update these terms; the date above tells you when we last did. Dutch law applies, and disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
